Freud seemingly just couldn't "explain" his own oedipal behavioral patterns.

    Reading it felt to me like pointing a shotgun with its business end right to my forehead and pulling the trigger. But for all these people constantly tickling my nuts, i obviously am able to torture myself a bit.

    I'm on the lookout for some good literature. But there is ambivalence right now in my head about these, which only time can make "right", so to say.
