We know no one wants to read the paywalled "conservative media outlets", like ...Bloomberg....

..yet, Snopes tries to play this off as not really happening and just being considered, which isn't very honest.

It is literally part of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission's official operating plan for 2023, from their October 26, 2022 meeting:

The passed the Boyle Amendment 4, which adds importance of chronic hazards for consumers linked with PFAs and gas stoves to the Commissions FY 23 Operating Plan.

Commissioner Trumka submitted Trumka 3, which would direct staff to initiate rulemaking pertaining to gas stoves. This was not supported, so Trumka then offered a substitute amendment, Trumka 3A, which would direct staff to issue a Request for Information (RFI) to obtain public input on hazards associated with gas stoves. This was described as "expedited" and approved unanimously.

Less than a month later, all the virtue-signalling Democrats jumped on a letter after having first heard of this to push for it to be done quickly.

They are trying to link gas stoves to heart conditions. Yeah... That's how fucking desperate they are.

I think it might be far more insidious. It's a lot easier to turn off someone's electricity than their gas.

I think that goes without saying. Idiot governor of California mandates no more gasoline vehicles and then tells people not to charge their cars to prevent rolling blackouts. They have a master plan but they have a lot of idiots trying to implement it.

RAGE AGAINST THE CLAIMANT CHANGE MACHINE!

Well for once they are right.

Gas stoves are better for the climate by all metrics because they use less electricity. Duh. Banning them will make carbon emissions worse because people will use more electricity. Obviously.

The ban is supposedly justified by some kind of health concern. Which well, sure if you are burning shit in a poorly ventilated area it's had for you duh. Electric stoves are no different really. You can burn stuff with them. If you breathe it it's bad for you.

Kids had less asthma back in the days where everyone was a chain smoker as well just saying. Not claiming it's a good thing and we should do it more. But eh, every time I've smoked a nice stogie the one person complaining shuts the fuck up and leaves when I blow in their face.

What makes you think that the snopes "false" is wrong?

This was such a stupid story.

Or did morons actually think that the government was going to break down their door and take their stove away?
