So does almost every big company, Google, Amazon Microsoft, Mozilla, and European companies through law-enforcement and intelligence partnerships. The only unique thing is that Coinbase is likely de-obscuring the private flows of coins going through their systems. The rest of blockchain analysis can be accomplished by many service providers.

If you expect privacy but aren't approaching your online life as if every entity involved- from your search engine to your social media (duh) to your ISP to your phone manufacturer- may be purposefully or involuntarily recording and tracking every bit of data you give them in order to tie it to you, you'll be sorely disappointed.
