I know it's not the same, but in Chinese 無敵 translates to "unequaled, without rival, a paragon"

I kind of like "unequaled". But I think your phrase "person with nothing to lose" is the best translation probably. That conveys the fear properly.

I think you didn't consider the Japanese culture for saying that... Japan is a nation that with serious vicious competition,people often thinking how to winning others in business,then they are very easy to get the idea of "invincible".

Yes I just find the use of "invincible" odd when that is the very group that is most likely to commit suicide, I guess.
