Dianne Feinstein shows that an old person might not realize that he no longer has the ability to perform his duties well. This definitely shows in Joe Biden. He does nothing about illegal migrants crossing the border despite it hurting his chances of being reelected and that of other Democrats. Perhaps he's too old to understand this.

Feinstein has been cognitively dead for quite some time. She is not alone in this. The number of people who are clearly cognitively incompetent (more than one elected after full evidence of their incompetence is very publicly available) is telling as to where our "elite" stand on the curve of empire. Hint: the empire stopped growing decades ago.
