Complaints in North Korea, Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, and all over the world against the US are that the US is "imperial", or heading a global American empire. One rarely hears that in the US, unless of course you're brainwashed by Twitter's Russian disinformation campaign (which is massive). ALL powerful countries use their power to influence their trading partners. China's the worst. You probably don't understand this, but you are repeating the disinformation about the US, as if you worked for Russia, or North Korea, or Iran, or China, or for any other group working against the US. Those are the folks who want Trump re-elected and are spamming Twitter with anti-democracy disinformation. They're literal traitors to the US. Re-think your approach.

    Morality is not related to the general discussion here. It's geopolitics for all 1st world countries. The foreign engagements are ways of developing allies who can share in trade benefits. There are also negative impacts.
