Counterpoint, he should go to jail for breaking the law same as anyone else who goes to jail for breaking this law. Is it an unjust law? Doesn't matter. Change the law if you don't like it. Personally I think you should be able to have a gun if you're a pothead but not if you're a meth addict.

He should go to jail so that daddy can see the effects of his career of pandering to morons.

Do you think daddy is lucid enough to recognize what he's looking at?

If the argument is that the law is unjust, I agree. But since his daddy is the one pushing these laws through, I say make an example of him.

It’s easy to pass laws restricting the freedoms of the plebeians when you and your family is untouchable.

This article is pure misdirection by focusing solely on 18 USC 922(g).....getting guns while a drug addict.

If any clumsy stupid authoritarian law was ever meant specifically for a person, it was this one for Hunter. He had a long history of drug addiction and substance abuse facility stays. Marking "NO" on the form was completely unquestionably fraud. He had at least one previous possession charge, that was expunged from his record.

We should not forget that this gun was dumped behind a building near a dumpster.

Then a video of Hunter with another gun, an illegal gun, came out last year.

This is not the poster child for challenging gun laws.
