It is standard fascism strategy is to pass vague laws that can be applied subjectively, corruptly, to attack critics and opponents and insulate protected ideologies. These types of laws tend to always be focused on seemingly virtuous reasons as cover.

If the scales in Michigan even slightly tip towards red, this could be used to shut down things like pride parades, drag show story hours, any number of leftist horseshit.
