I think voting for a criminal would put off some of the marginal voters.

On the upside you'd see the issue of whether a president can pardon themselves settled in case law.

With all the nonsense they threw at him from 2015 to 2020, he still won in 2020 and had the most votes of any republican ever LMAO he'll win if he's convicted of literally anything

James Comey speculating on Clinton's emails, and Russian hacking and releasing of DNC emails, as well as their work on social media helped him a lot.

On the other hand he still lost the popular vote by 2.9 million votes, and remains the only president this millennium to be kicked out after one term.
