The "left" are forever involute to fascism, because the communistic model demand that all submit to a singular ideology. What was once an economic argument -- having failed, due to every communist economic system failing (China's being economic capitalism + societal communism) -- has now, in desperation, turned to identity, gender, biology, and even the fundamental sciences. The upside-down newspeak of "prosperity through penurity", has shifted to "black is white", "he is she", "male is female", and "science is religion".
