The stunning acceptance of using the justice system to deliver an obvious political hit is worth some discussion.

When enough people can be brainwashed to support the denial of basic human rights and due process based solely on an individual's political opinion and/or likeability then "our democracy" can be utilized to conjure popular demand for a class of people to be criminalized and subject to special laws and restrictions whose sole purpose is to repress.

It's the inevitable next step on the road of demonizing anyone who doesn't think, act, and vote the way you want them to. And both sides are guilty of doing it, it's just that the left has the whip hand right now because they can pass a lot of their bullshit by using positions that most decent people don't have particular issues with as a shield for the more outrageous crap (see gays being allowed to marry serving as a shield for troons strutting cock out in women's locker rooms.)

    I'm ok with it. It's bad, it's banana republic. But...

    They'll never get Trump for the things he should be prosecuted for; Fauci, warp speed, lockdowns, being fired for not taking a vaccine, fast to market drugs for a virus with 1.5%IFR but not for cancer drugs, hospitals denying early treatment etc.

    It's a bit like getting Capone for tax evasion.

    The reds need to go after Biden, Clinton Obama and Carter.. like with Biden you can't get him for being a China operative, but maybe they can jail him for falsifying health info.

    I'm not here to save the Republic, I don't believe it can be. I'm here for it's reckoning. Your individual state is more important now than them United.

    The irony, and it's not really irony, whoever is pulling the strings is genius.

    For all the rhetoric about election fraud and krakens from the GOP and his campaign team which thanks to him became much Ado about nothing, they're essentially charging him with election fraud.

    His failure to report hush money as part of campaign finances, real or not, big deal or not, amounts to an essential accusation of election fraud. Meanwhile, all the other things that could be considered election fraud, (media and social media malfeasance, etc)...

    Yep. It’s frivolous. It’s a political attack. There’s no president for these charges. It’s totally new, and there’s actually NO crime committed. He’s charged with covering up a “crime”. But there’s no underlying crime.

        The 'rule of law' is full of bias and I justice, and is frequently used to persecute political opponents while others who commit equal or more heinous crimes get off without even a bad headline. Nobody falls for such a naive attack on the residents of saidit, shame on you.
