We have 2 lefties in our extended family. Guess who has the useless degrees and massive student loan debt.

Someone was complaining that they have interest of £30k a year and that their loan will be over $1mill when it is forgiven in 10 years time.

Is this right, do they get forgiven eventually anyway?

The Democratic Party mostly shoots for low info masses. The highly educated are mostly well balanced between political ideologies.

Student loan forgiveness is a crazy solution. Yet, our shitty government allowed absolute garbage colleges to rack up tons of debt on our citizens without giving any value in return. It even helped by being the bookie for those loans, with federal loan holding.

So a huge amount of people were ripped off, but just paying everyone off screws up the whole industry. Lazy solutions, to huge problems caused by being lazy. Maybe our shitty government should do something useful for once.

I blame the corporations for wanting master's degrees for entry-level jobs. It forces students to rack up more debt for a job they most likely won't get because they studied for the wrong degree.
