republicans would win every time.
I don't think that is true, but without a doubt Newsome would be gone. I don't think they can or need to rig all of the elections. I think they have focused on installing corrupt elections administrators in key cities to secure and swing key states. California is one of the worst because they already had so much power there that once they figured out they can get away with election fraud, or finally infiltrated the federal government enough, that was an easy grab.
The Republicans aren't much better anyway. They all cow tow to the (((Bankers))). Trump was literally the only one in my adult life who clearly wasn't a shill.
