Indulge me for a second and imagine if a White, Conservative anti-CRT activist is accused of - it doesn't have to be anywhere near as severe as an attempted assassination of a Jewish politician. It could be "vandalism" for putting up an "It's Okay To Be White" poster - something. Now I want you to imagine the CBS News affiliate devoting a segment to giving a voice to the White, Conservative anti-CRT activist's political associates and allies, identifying them as "justice advocates" and, simply "leaders", in which they, without contextualization, portray the accused in sympathetic terms, frame the accused as a co-victim of his own crime and pledge not to abandon their support for him. Imagine that airing on any station anywhere in the country.
