It's a statement of fact that a hospital stay can cost thousands of dollars. This seems like maybe someone in charge of CDC twitter is based.

CDC is a powerful government institution. Pointing out that it's being defended is not an ad hominem attack.

Call me crazy, but I think we should all be on the side of the little guy. Controversial, I know.

A government official who speaks with the imprimatur of power. Yeah good job there. They need more help! As opposed to the little guy who doesn't need any help and is far too powerful already, and should be taken down a notch.

like the title here says and a lot of people replying to the tweet, the tweet makes biden and dems look bad. I support that interpretation of it. I guess you're saying that in the CDC's mind their tweet is saying that hospital stays being expensive is a good thing?

right, dems are sellouts. I thought maybe the CDC was sneakily criticizing them for that.Of course repubs don't support universal healthcare either, neither party does as they are controlled by the rich.
