The injection is free but the hospital stay related to taking the injection can cost thousands of dollars.

Thanks for supporting the viewpoint of the powerful. If our society needs one thing, it's more sticking up for those who already have power.

I'm stating facts. Please explain how making factual statements supports the powerful?

The bidding of powerful government institutions is being done.

Try reading my comment again and this time pay attention to all the words. My comment differs significantly from the CDC's message and acts as a rebuttal to it. You're so eager to make ad hominem attacks that you don't even bother to take the time to understand what people are saying first.

It's a statement of fact that a hospital stay can cost thousands of dollars. This seems like maybe someone in charge of CDC twitter is based.

Defending powerful government officials and shitting on the little guy again. What is it with this account that makes it do this over and over?

/u/Chipit This is an ad hominem attack, against Saidit TOS. Make explicit arguments against the points presented or delete the comment.

CDC is a powerful government institution. Pointing out that it's being defended is not an ad hominem attack.

Call me crazy, but I think we should all be on the side of the little guy. Controversial, I know.

If you can't counter the facts without attacking the account then don't comment at all. Saidit is a fact based site, not a feelings based site.

do you always just say that to me without reading my comment, I did the opposite of what you say

someone in charge of CDC twitter

A government official who speaks with the imprimatur of power. Yeah good job there. They need more help! As opposed to the little guy who doesn't need any help and is far too powerful already, and should be taken down a notch.

like the title here says and a lot of people replying to the tweet, the tweet makes biden and dems look bad. I support that interpretation of it. I guess you're saying that in the CDC's mind their tweet is saying that hospital stays being expensive is a good thing?

[–]Chipit[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

The powerful are being supported and the little guy is being shat upon.

Why not try being on the side of the powerless for once?

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

so what is being on the side of powerless here? Supporting universal healthcare? I do. With caveats of course but still.

[–]Chipit[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Not supporting government officials, but you knew that.

Democrats defeated universal health care, remember? Too expensive. But they passed the defense spending bill!

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

right, dems are sellouts. I thought maybe the CDC was sneakily criticizing them for that.Of course repubs don't support universal healthcare either, neither party does as they are controlled by the rich.

Most of the Democrats will be gone in November 2022. The rest will be gone by November 2024. People are not going to foget this shit and the Republicans will have just as many ballot box stuffers as the Democrats.

I have a .gov email address. Being posted from one means nearly nothing.
