What would be the reason for the attack if they knew it was an American ship?

Liberty was an intelligence snooper, and they were doing some dirty deeds to the Arabs and didn't want anyone watching.

Why should I believe you did not make this up on the spot?

This is all well-known; look it up yourself. It wasn't a mistake, it was done for a reason.

Have you considered that people spreading such ideas could be foreign agents trying to weaken the US?

The simplest explanation is the most likely. Israel really really really doesn't want to talk about this. It's more likely YOU are the foreign agent. We know for a fact that Israel recruits people like you to go online and post for them. Here's a recruiting video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWD5xiiafBc&t=19s

Israel has a propaganda app that guides an army into different parts of the internet so they can flood them with reports, vote/like manipulate, and post ready to use propaganda material to misinform the public and censor criticism. Could this be you? I doubt it, Saidit is too small to bother with. BUT you are certainly indistinguishable from them.

The simplest explanation is that this was accidental friendly fire, something that happened dozens of times with american troops in every single war.

I wish I could get money for being sane.

Nope, we have the transcripts where the pilot clearly identified the ship as American, can see the flag, and was ordered to bomb anyway.

That happened dozens of time and in every war the US was involved in. Look up friendly fire incidents in the gulf wars for example. Sometimes it's the execs on the ground who simply don't believe everything the pilot tell them (or assume it's a false flag) and think their info is better, sometimes it's the other way around.

This wasn't a mistake. It was deliberate. The pilots clearly identified the ship as American and were ordered to attack anyway.

From our "friends" in Israel.
