The elites like a large population because the competition for jobs keeps wages low.

When no one in the West wants to be a cleaner on minimum wage answer from the elites is always "let's bring people in who will work for that wage" never "We should pay more for crappy jobs so people will want to do them."

I must have a different perspective than the 'elites', despite having somewhat of a belief in elitism.

Ruling over a dystopian hell hole from atop a huge pile of money would seem less desirable than ruling over a more wonderful and happy society from ground level. Their end game mystifies me.

Why assume there's an endgame for most of them.

They are driven by their short term lusts more than normal people because there's no consequences.

It's the middle class you have to watch in regards to long term plotting, as we're seeing with wokeness and it's slow take over of all the institutions.
