Oh look, more right-wing fake news, being upvoted by right-wing dipshits (but I repeat myself).

"These changes apply only to the rules document and do not prevent House members from using gendered language in any other communication, although some right-wing politicians and commentators have contended that gendered words have been banned."

The gender-neutral changes are stupid, but not as stupid as the gullible fucks that upvoted this shit.

Thank you, this does need to be pointed out to keep things in perspective.

But, "these changes apply only to the rules document" also shouldn't be dismissed as meaningless. It's still political posturing, and we can probably expect to see more revision of language going forward. (See also, "Amen and A-women". It's only just starting to get ridiculous.)

Did she break "the rules"? No. Does the fact that she made setting rules discouraging gendered language her first priority in the new session - and then went on to try and garner political sympathy using that very same gendered language - make her a complete hypocrite? Hiding behind technicalities doesn't change the reality.

Right wing, left wing....lotsa dipshits on either side but you're correct, this is as bad as some of the anti-trump/anti-biden trash people fell into so easily.

They get distracted with a headline about a person they currently despise (but let's be honest, who in their right mind is fond of Pelosi?) and it's off to the races. It's usually done to distract from something else that they wanted to fly under the radar.

"Hey kid! Look over here at this shiny button" as they walk into your home and steal half of your savings and brand your children.

Okay, I admit that's a bit of an extreme example but the idea stands.
