I have looked at it. I have family who argue for the same things, and I know the details. This doesn't change the fundamental point I'm making, however. The details of how this theory is supposed to work out do not reflect the reality of how it has worked out over the past 30 years. I don't see anything new. Three of five of your points (points 1,4 and 5) basically boil down to "restore the status quo pre-Trump". That status quo was failing badly, which is precisely why Trump was elected in the first place. Points 2 and 3, climate change and tax the rich, are two different ways to give more power and control to a political/corporate elite who already have vastly too much power over the citizenry. There's no change in direction here. It's the same pattern that has led to a downward trend in individual satisfaction (observed, not modeled) for the past 50 years. Why continue this?

You're still very much ignoring u/StillLessons excellent point - which is that if you look at what Democrats do, not what they say they'll do, they are either horribly ineffective or else they're liars, and all the years of Clinton and Obama didn't look a wit different from the Bush years in terms of war, decline in economic mobility, decline in civic institutions, and general undermining/malaise in the working class. Joe has no fucking brilliant new ideas....he's a relic of the old machinery. He has nearly 50 years of politics behind him showing what he is and what he does, and dude, he can not and will not deliver any of those vaguely nice sounding things.

Except that's really just a generalization, and even if it were true that's hugely preferable to another Trump term.

No, that's an actual evidence-based opinion unlike your forward looking conjecture. Trump's policies were good, even if his personality is repugnant.
