Individuals acting in their self interest isn't a conspiracy theory.

The capitalist liberal elite making war in the name of peace when they just so happen to make a lot money out of it isn't a new or unique thing. It's a big part of the plot of the film The Favourite (and that plot point was very much taken from real life) which is set in the 18th century.

    This is why the "majority group are the oppressor" can't work outside the US and why the far left tends towards racism. In most places the upper and middle classes are of a different ethnic make up to the majority. If you try to blame a particular economic class for everyone's problems you are going to end up targeting a minority ethnic group disproportionately and driving up hated towards them.
