I don't think masks are for control. They are to shut up the whimps and whiners. I saw a young, fit collage lecturer posting the other day that if the government makes him go back to work he will die when actually he's more likely to get struck by lightning in his demographic (of course he expects them to keep paying him). These people are so crazy and loud the government is forced to placate them. I really think we just need to accept there are going to be a few thousand shut-ins left over from the panic of lockdown and move on without them. No health measures or falling figures are going to make these terrified people feel safe, it's an emotional problem.
