Not a surprise. Identity groups within identity politics only support other groups where to do so would be in opposition to the majority/norm. Absent that, they’re warring tribes. It’s similar to the stereotypical feuding hillbilly family that unites together when an outsider threatens them, returning to their internal disputes as soon as the outsider departs.
