Every American should be asking themselves these questions... Why am I paying TAXES on my wages? Then paying Sales Tax to spend my money. Then paying Income Taxes on my money they already TAXED and paying Property Taxes after I already paid Sales Tax on said the property

You got me. I meant 1 locally, so yeah import tax should be the only foreign tax. You are correct that double taxes foreign products. And yes the only local tax should be on a consumption (sales) tax.

I wasn't even speaking about where the slush funds go. Perhaps it's naive to expect people to want a low flat rate ... which would limit the welfare.
