There needs to be serious legal repercussions for facebook and zuckerberg for doing things that will kill people

Facebook is a privately run social media website. It does not decide healthcare policies of sovereign states so your assertion is hyperbolic nonsense.

It certainly influences public opinion by so much that it can actually lead to laws being passed. This seems obvious
