Oh really? Why don't you go fetch the results of the largest patient trials and report back with what they say? Because I already have, and of the biggest 3, 2 reported it didn't help and one reported that it might, but the data was questionable. Fatality rates for those who took neither of the tested drugs were a lot higher than the national average for admitted patients; the fatality rates for those who took the drugs was pretty close to the national average. It's believed that some of the ones who ended up not getting any medication were "chosen" because they already had a bad prognosis going in.

That would explain why NYC announced they would try HCQ starting in late March but ended the practice in early May, because they also found it didn't help. You know...NYC...that huge city that got hit hard and has had 25,000 people die from it so far.

And it's the same story when used as a prophylactic. There are only 2 completed studies that have tested the efficacy of HCQ as a prophylactic against COVID-19, and the results for both showed no effect.

But hey, what do I know, I only bothered to actually find and read the studies.
