Linus Torvalds has been reduced to a political puppet by his far-left masters

So, good old Linus Torvalds decided to squash out politically incorrect terminology like "master" and "slave" from the linux kernel's git branch a few days back. Can anyone here really believe that the guy did this voluntarily? (as in his own volition or consent)

I mean this is the same guy who only a couple years ago had shouted "Fuck NVIDIA" and showed his middle finger right in front of the camera for the entire world to see! Can anyone even explain this enormous personality change and cognitive dissonance in a few short years while keeping a straight face?

That is plenty humiliating. I'm pretty sure there was an ultimatum from like Google+Facebook to accept the cult of political correctness, or be cast aside. They would have had a replacement for his role ready, and the threat of a persistent smear campaign if he refused.

His employer is the Linux Foundation. It's run by most of the big SV tech companies.

Yes and I've also heard about a conspiracy of him falling for a #metoo honeypot trap by some SJW feminist. Very spooky indeed if true.

In Torvald’s case, he should have increased his asshole behavior instead of backing off of it. All attacks should have been met with something like, yes, I’m an asshole, and if you don’t like it, go fuck yourself. He should have repeated that over and over again.
