What kind of crazy argument is the prosecutor going to make? She could have stripped and reassembled the gun in a split-second and fired it?

if true that evidence must be thrown out

It's probably been a staged event from day 1.

There's no way this is making it through a court.

Firstly: what they did was not illegal in Missouri.

Second: even if it was, no jury would support it.

The prosecutor is a Marxist BLM supporter, she's pushing this to pander to the rioters.

There's a reason she's pushing them to take a plea, she knows this is going to backfire in her face if it gets to a court.

I dunno why they're even bothering, the governor has said he'll pardon them of any charges they're convicted of.

All the more reason to refuse plea-bargains and go the full mile through the process: Expose their corrupted prosecution to the world. Maybe get a few staffers fired; or better yet, convicted of real crimes.
