Yes, because we've never seen an unmarked police cruiser before. Just so you are aware, if you are taken away by these secret police, you will be facing federal charges, and not eligible for release. If you don't like this, and would rather be taken away in a marked police cruiser, stop trying to de-fund the police. And demand that your local governments do something about these bands of rioters and looters roaming the streets at night.

I can't even read that without cringing. On a side note, these covid-19 lock downs are unconstitutional. And the ACLU is a joke.

In addition, police have the authority to enforce their jurisdiction and escort or arrest outside officers. If the local police had an issue with this, they would be stopping and detaining these people. The reason they are not, is because their local government won't let them do their jobs, so they aren't going to stop others for doing on their behalf.

Poetically, I learned of this while living in Portland, where one officer ticketed another for being outside his jurisdiction, and threatening to arrest him if he persisted to interfere.

What if I told you you can be against secret police and rioters, looting, and unconstitutional lockdowns? Not everything has to be a identitarian / partisan issue. Also, wanting to hold the police accountable and end qualified immunity and police acquisition of military equipment doesn't mean getting rid of the whole force or turn your town into a CHAZ autonomous zone.

And the ACLU is a joke. I agree they're really not great anymore but as with Trump I'll at least recognize when they get something right.

Right, but I am not against federal agents coming in to do the work of local police because local government has prevented them from doing their jobs. I am for violent rioters and agitators being arrested. This will prevent them from being released back onto the streets where they will only cause more harm. They are facing federal charges now. If the local government were doing their job, this would not be happening. But they aren't, so it is.

Now what if I told you Almond Joy™ has nuts but Mounds™ don't? Was that something you needed to know? probably not.
