It was notable in the UK that the first political cause BLMuk allied themselves with was Palestinian vs Israel. Never mind bringing much needed attention to all the countless black lives being lost to civil wars raging in Africa, they went instead for the most tokenist of token Leftwing issues of the day.

Civil wars in Africa don't have an obvious anti-Western slant. Sure they could point to colonial legacies, but ultimately it's Africans killing Africans. Israel versus Palestinians is a great choice for three reasons:

  1. Jews. Disliked because they are Jews.
  2. Israel is aligned to the West, and the only country in that region that would be recognised as having Western values.
  3. Muslims. Liked because, with the fall of communism, they are the most visible opponent of Western values.

So, my point was, they just don't care about black lives. They care more about attacking the west.

They're hated because they are subversive deviants who don't contribute to society (generally speaking).
