Maybe if you boil it it'll be like some really weird hard-boiled egg with strange, dubious and multicoloured yolks.

This leads into theories of giants existing in the past. As cells being just slightly larger, could create massive humans without changing the brain or any other aspect of the individual.

Things don't scale like that. If the cells were bigger none of the tissues would have the same properties. Gasses and nutrients would not diffuse the same way. Heat would not dissipate the same way. The bones would break.

We have humans with gigantism. They have many problems and die young because the proportions are wrong and their organs just aren't designed for that size. And thier cells are normal size. If the cells were the wrong size too they would be double fucked.

It works to some degree, we do have different size people. But nothing like 10 feet tall.

There is a reason insects don't have lungs, and mamals dont diffuse oxygen through tubes in the skin like insects.

Things don't work like that under current atmospheric pressure. Similarly that single cell organism exists in the ocean, at depths with a magnitude of pressure. But I guess we'll just ignore the very premise of this thread so that you can tell me, "Things don't scale like that." Where I didn't even provide a scale and you are assuring me a ten foot tall man is too tall? Madness.

Algae does not grow in the ocean deapths because it is photosynthetic and light does not penetrate the water at deapth.

Weird. You can't seem to click the link for some reason. As it contradicts everything you have said in that sentence.

Let me know if you can click this one.

Be clear about what argument you are making. Are you claiming that atmospheric pressure used to be higher than the deep ocean? Because that is what you are implying, yet I'm sure if I call you out on how absurd that is you will just deny having said that too.

If your ego can't handle having an honest conversation you don't have to have one at all.

I'm not making an argument. And neither are you. The difference however is, I purposed a theory, where you are just trolling this forum. Because you're a dick. And that sadly is the best case scenario.

Not sure pressure is the most important factor here even, it's more of the density of water that's closer to the body density and so supports better against gravity, which really is why things don't scale that much. I also think the size of cells isn't what's limiting us from being bigger -- we could be bigger, just like elephants or giraffes are, but that would mean we would have to eat more, we would be more fragile, less agile etc., it's simply evolution that determined the right size for us, not the cell size. Think your theories are bullshit, but perhaps I will watch the videos, these are always fun, I actually like them, it's interesting to entertain ideas even if they seem implausible. Also if you take this as an insult then fuck you, that's quite childish :)

You just reminded me of the world's tallest dwarf.

But inects did used to grow to enormous sizes, like the Meganeuropsis permiana which would grow to 75cm long.

Gigantism is an unfortunate disorder, most die from growths in the skull or cardiovascular disorders because the growth is forced and unnatural as opposed to having millions of years of evolution to adapt to surrounding environment.

I agree that things don't scale, but I guess it doesn't mean things can't ever be scaled. Dinosaurs were huge, and awesome 🦖 rawr

When the gases in the atmosphere were different, there were much larger insects.
