I wouldn't call men "disposable" though. Responsibility for protection is one thing but disposable isn't the word.

I guess it is technically true, what does the word dispose mean, it has different meanings, you dispose of trash so it sounds bad, but it also means that trash was something that served a purpose and is now sent away, like you dispose of the ashes of someone that died by pouring them into the sea if that is what they would have wanted, and there is nothing wrong with that.
