I don't know your age, but not so long ago there was free speech in America and people were not banned for holding unpopular opinions. Only in about the last 10 years has the West become universally against free speech.

Before the jews fomented the "free speech riots" at Berkeley in the 60s, our speech was free while still not corrupting the community. They successfully turned Free Speech into a weapon to destroy our morals and our country.

      I protect all free speech. I even protect the free speech of racist Nazis. Superficially this may not appear to be in my self interest but I believe that free speech is fundamentally in my interest, so I defend the right of free speech for all views.

      That's true, although Roman Polanski was charged in 1977. NAMBLA, despised widely, was founded in 78. Society has become more puritanical in many ways since, but some things were always frowned upon.

      Many of us, and even some animals, have a protective instinct towards children even if they aren't ours. It's primal. Talking about hurting them triggers that part of the lizard brain.

      Those with more than lizard brains understand that free speech is the best way to deal with all issues, especially with opinions that one disagrees with. I am a strict religious conservative (following the Old Testament), so obviously I disagree with Caamib's views on sex. But that doesn't prevent me from defending his right to speak.
