Most of the deaths have been linked to cannabis vapes. Sellers on the black market sometimes cut their vapes with various substances to extend their product, some of which may be causing these illnesses. Plus with black market products there is no way to verify the company, whether pesticides were used in production, etc.

The CDC wants to put the blame on legitimate businesses, but it is marijuana prohibition that is causing these deaths. The war on drugs kills and imprisons many more than vaping, legalize it already!
