Not sure that is him on the island but I do believe he is alive somewhere. Way too much fakery at the "prison." And wouldn't going back to the island be a bit too obvious? A body double to really confuse everyone? Tel Aviv? Wherever he is, he's safe now.

I've seen several comparisons between the ears and nose of the corpse and live pics of him. The 'dead body' was definitely not him.

I'm definitely not an expert but I think what you say is true. Everything about the prison and his "death" is fakery, in my opinion.
