Yeah no shit. The Internet has lost like 30 IQ points in the last 30 years. I suppose that was bound to happen when every moron with so little as a cheap phone can piss all over it. Things were better when a basic PC was $5k and you paid by the minute for 14.4k access.

That's subjective. I would say the early 2000s were probably the golden ages of the Internet before the giants reshaped it to better exploit people for profit, and the masses of dumb people with their Obamaphones were easy to manipulate.
