The US used poison gas on the tunnels in Vietnam. It did not work. It is trivial to build a p trap in the tunnels to make them gas and water proof. All this does is show that the IDF is afraid to go into the tunnels. They must be losing a lot of soldiers doing that, or all their soldiers are cowards.

Can you explain how p-traps would keep water and gas from infiltrating the tunnels? I am having a hard time figuring that out. I understand about the gas being blocked, but then the tunnels couldn't breathe and those inside would suffocate.
