Tip 1, buy ingredients and cook them rather than buying meals

Well dumbfuck, I can fix ten bucks of that in the first paragraph. They bought deodorant and toothbrushes at a grocery store. What a shit article.

Listen, I get it, we're all being squeezed no matter how much you make. But don't write an article saying you bought non grocery items at a grocery store and bitch about grocery prices. At least be on the level, and you know, buy groceries.

Where do you get deodorant or toothbrushes at prices better than the grocery store?

Dollar General, CVS, Walgreens. My grocery stores rake on all non grocery items.

At least by me that's how it is.

I guess it differs by locality. I get toothbrushes at the grocery store for $3.99 for 4 or 5-packs depending on the sale. But costco has the best deal on deodorant in my area.
