Given that, as the article notes, he had prior battery incidents before this most famous one, this is almost the textbook definition of a "danger to society". Rehabilitation seems impossible. What to do in cases like this? Whatever it takes to keep him as far from society as possible for as long as possible.

I don't by the autism diagnosis either. I know, I'm not his doctor, but schools tend to lump anyone who isn't very typical into some sort of pigeonhole so they can excuse bad behavior and poor performance. He looks like just a big, dumb lunk who had a tantrum because someone took his pacifier. Frankly, I could care less. Letting him back into the population is only going to guarantee he will eventually kill someone. Jail is the perfect place for him.
