How are buildings completely wrecked and trees are still standing? Some shitty construction IMO. I've experienced storms that knocked over trees. No damage to a single house.

People keep being surprised that trees which have evolved over millions of years to survive natural disasters survive natural disasters. Depends on the type of soil whether the wind will push them over or not
