English isn't my native language, so give me a break.

Tbh it's a very nuanced point. You can probably use "less" for countable nouns, as you see it more and more.

But it amuses me in particular when talking to people who are worried about black people taking all the jobs if they make grammatical errors. Less amusing for people in their second language of course.

Not of itself. They're caused by diversity being associated with differences in social class.

I highly doubt that, and achieving social class equality between racial groups is literally impossible because racial groups are inherently different. I mean, the US government has already spent trillions trying to achieve just that and it's been a massive failure.
