There, saved you guys a click. It's a moral panic driven by fear. You know what breeds fear? Ignorance. Tritium in the wastewater will evaporate with the rest of the hydrogen when you make sea salt. They don't believe Japanese authorities and they don't know the scale and risk of the wastewater release.

It's just politically expedient and financially lucrative to play off these fears.
