This warning should echo to everyone, not just Mexico.

Myself, Reporting From the US Southern Illinois Midwest Corn Belt:

Corn harvests will be low due to late planting because of.... prolonged cold and excessive rain last spring.

Farmers just grow the corn and sell it. They don't have any control over what happens to the corn after it is sold.
