Acknowledges inflation but doesn't understand that because of it the seemingly increased profits are offset by being worth less

Thanks for sticking up for the trillion dollar corporations! I'm sure they appreciate someone doing it for free.

My mistake clearly there is no inflation and everything would be perfectly fine if not for those gosh dang corpo scum price fixing one of the most heavily regulated and deeply scrutinized resources on earth

Good job taking the side of the mega corporations!

Seriously, who would even do that without being paid to do so? Weird...

I am saying that logically it would be very difficult for any such corporation to engage in price fixing/gouging of oil. I am also saying that inflation is only mentioned once in the article, despite it rapidly making everything more expensive at level.

Seriously? Megacorps have no control over the price of oil? Silly. Of course they do. It's their product.

At this point I have to regard you as a paid poster, so stubbornly you stick to the side of the powerful and try to punch down and debunk the little guy.

Yep that's me totally getting paid to argue specifically with you about this one issue that I have literally never previously commented on here. Again, companies like shell do not exist in a vacuum. They are beholden to the many laws and regulations of the countries and governments they do business with. If they were to engage in price fixing or gouging there would be a paper trail and you wouldn't need the speculation of a "well known mechanic"
