Good lord that is frightening, are they still going on about this after they lost Virginia over this issue? I really do not understand the strategy here

It's a moral issue. It doesn't matter what the voters vote for - they're deplorable. The fact is that the left feels itself morally correct and thus entitled to lecture others on its superior morality. If you disagree, you're deplorable too. They are unpersuadable.

No, I don't disagree at all. They've lost their minds with this CRT stuff. Have Black people faced discrimination? I'm sure they have, but the idea that they think they can tell white kids, some of whom are living in poverty, that they are 'privileged' is criminally insane and abusive.

The left long ago abandoned class as an issue. That's what CRT is, basically - warmed-over Marxism with "class" scratched out and "race" written in in crayon. It's why they're perfectly comfortable punching down and abusing the working class and do it quite openly - all bigots are proud of their bigotry.

Yeah you are spot on. This along with other madness like vaccines and voting rights laws (its ok If I need an ID and a vax pass to eat at a restaurant, but if you require an ID for voting you're a goddamn racist) is what has pushed me away from the democratic party. Bernie Sanders keeping his mouth shut, while the pharma companies he said were evil try to force their poison on me didn't help either.

I'll admit to being sympathetic to Marxist class ideology, which I doubt you share. Wouldn't say I'm a Marxist though, I tend to lean pretty libertarian on social issues, and the whole centralized communism thing clearly doesn't work

It doesnt matter how the dress their marxism up, commies are always commie - they think communist, eat communist, and now they try to force teach kids to be communist. Commies gonna commie!

There's more nuance to it than that. Please don't be so unsophisticated. The old style commies that are for the working class are still around, but hard to find. The new style cultural Marxists hate them.

This is nuanced?

“The ideas of the ruling race are in every epoch the ruling ideas, i.e. the race which is the ruling material force of society, is at the same time its ruling intellectual force. The race which has the means of material production at its disposal, has control at the same time over the means of mental production, so that thereby, generally speaking, the ideas of those who lack the means of mental production are subject to it. The ruling ideas are nothing more than the ideal expression of the dominant material relationships, the dominant material relationships grasped as ideas.”

The difference between cultural Marxists and old-school working class Marxists is. It's foolish to think otherwise. If you want to dismiss them all by calling them commies, it's a bad idea.

Communism and all its disease offspring is a bad idea.

Sure. But the difference is between beriberi and polio and treating them the same is utterly stupid.
