People on both sides getting a nasty surprise about how many of these supposedly politically radicalised people are just day trippers who turn up at any protest or riot no matter what it's about for the lulz.

Friendly reminder that Antifa grew out of football hooliganism not politics.

    Anfita has nothing to do with 1930s fascism.

    It's a modern invention. It came out of Britain in 1985 when thugs realised racists were the one group of people they could still beat up and not be seen as bad guys.

    The first American group called Antifa wasn't created until 2007.

    Antifa trying to link themselves with groups who fought the Nazis is like you trying to say you are a successors of Shakespeare because you also write in English.

      It sounds like you have been brainwashed on the term reactionary, and use it like a label to discredit those you don't like but don't have a valid argument against. That is why you are so desperate to not have Antifa labeled a reactionary when they clearly fit the description.

      The most insane extremists seem to have the idea that they are in fact smarter than those who react to facts by acting before the facts. This is simply wrong. It means you are justifying your, usually evil, actions with predictions that are most likely wrong. It simply isn't true that you can make accurate predictions of the future. You are no better than a schizophrenic murdering people because a voice in their head told them to and as far as they can tell that must be God.

        You are thinking of European Antifa. They are nothing like, and have nothing to do with American Antifa.
