The stats show drug use rates are cut in half when it's decriminalized. Why would you be against that if you truly stand for public health?

Because if you don't have a job and you're recovering from a drug stint and it shows on your national balances, YOU are not for public health. I will not take your side as such. Grow up and stop institutionalizing an excuse for there still being people getting on your bandwagon.

I hope the people you have wronged find you. Then you can tell me about grace and reconciliation. I hope you find forgiveness. Once you do- never let it go

In case the first reply doesn't make sense to you through your fixation on drug use, halving a problem and then calling it solved is not a solution. There is still the massive debt they took on to shoulder the burden of this (EDIT: Clarifying because you probably aren't going to realize RECESSIONS CAUSE DRUG USE), the effects of the covid economic recession and having to pay for any instutionalized bullshit they push on to individual countries based off their proclivity to give the WHO what they want. How easy to manipulate are a bunch of ex-drug users who are in the middle of a euphoria trip about how they 'fixed their problem' by making it normal? There's no one easier. On top of this, the fundamental problem, a lack of foresight is still present. Nothing has changed besides making some people believe they've graduated to another rung on the tier of social slavery. Recognize the fact if you actually want some meaningful change you need to stop acting like as if the world shares your drug fixation. Nobody is going to listen to what you have to say from a position of conditioning a bad thing to be normal. You're never going to address that, I feel, so...basically keep repeating yourself without having any recognition of the fraction of society you and I both represent. You ought not to make things our lack of judgment has created a personal hell for us in to normalcy for others.

Boredom caused both of my relapses.(sometimes in recovery we call it that, really it is a lack of stimulation) I'm afraid that the covid lock-down had that effect on some people. I wish them the best, but because of lock-downs we have lost tens of thousands to overdose and suicide. It is really, really bad.
