Americans used to ridicule the Chinese for being too weak to resist tyranny, but now Americans have found out that they are cowards, too.

Yeah. Well, I was told Kent State was caused by outside agitators. I was told riots in Newark featured snipes. So it is sort of a shame, but I have been lied to too many times. Sorry. I do not believe The Powers That Be.

This isn't The Powers That Be. This is a lone individual, who went on the ground to find out the facts.

Of course. Trust the nice policeman. He is there to help.

You're not engaging with any ideas, or making any arguments. You're just engaging in personal attacks (again). Do you have anything to say about the topic of this thread?

Yes. I have been told lies long these lines since at least the '68 riots. I am unwilling to fall for it again. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

So, you're falling for the idea that these riots are spontaneous, arising out of anger of the people and completely leaderless? Demanding revolution? Come on, man, protests haven't been organic for a long, long time.

So who are the people with the BaoFeng Handi-talkie radios, and why do they appear at every protest? Why are they running license plates and harassing people they consider suspicious? That's remarkably well-organized for a spontaneous protest.

I am about to go to lunch.

Just by the way, I recall as a kid Reader's Digest printed an article written by a witness who overheard two people at the head of the crowd at Kent State talking about their next stop on their tour of causing riots on college campuses.

Like I said it is a darn shame it is really true this time. I have been lied to too many times.

So this whole rigamarole is based on something that happened over a half century ago, and it's all so you don't have to believe that these protests are being organized and directed.

OK boomer.

Good point. A lifetime of being lied to can be discounted by the deep wisdom of youth. Frankly, I find your trust of the government sweet and endearing.

The government? This man isn't the government. Is that what you thought? Did you even read the article before commenting? You didn't, did you?
