What determines whether or not you are a racist is your beliefs and behavior, and is entirely within your control. It's perfectly fair to make value judgements with regards to someone's character on that basis. That is in contrast to your ethnicity, which you can't control, and shouldn't be judged by.

Foster didn't even fire his rifle. The five shots were from the dumbass driving through a crowd of first amendment protestors and the three following were from another protestor.

They told him he couldn't drive through because they had illegally blocked the street and started banging on his car when he tried to nose through, I'll put money on it.

I've seen other road blocks of this type and they always go apeshit and attack the car when someone ignores their orders and tried to drive through.

    Watched both clips on redstatenation...ewww, anyways, the driver didn't stop while turning right against the light despite the obvious crowd, barriers and the flashing lights of cruisers. He started shooting within five seconds of being swarmed to stop before he killed more people. He was obviously terrified with zero situational awareness.

    Plowing into a peaceful march is a fair characterization. Assault with a deadly weapon is not an unreasonable assessment either and could justify the threat of using lethal force to stop the commission of a crime.

    If he drove into police like that, he'd be dead. The video can't be any more obvious.
