Yes, but did the SCHOOL give it to you? I had ONE magazine and a copy of some novel my dad kept tucked waaaay under the bed: Fannie Hill—really good in fact. I knew I was damned but I wasn't gonna stop.

The school library had it. That's different from forcing pupils to read it, or even recommending it to them. The kids had to ask for it.

No, sorry, I only responded to your first sentence. The school didn't give the LGBT book to kids, only had it in stock.
